Rachel Tenner

Rachel Tenner has worked in the film industry since 1994 when she began working as a Casting Director in Chicago for Jane Brody Casting.  There she had the opportunity to work on the Coen Bros. movies, Hudsucker Proxy and Fargo.  In 1996, she began Tenner Paskal Casting with her partner Mickie Paskal.  Together they worked on such films as The Negotiator, What Women Want, Road to Perdition and Robert Altman’s The Company.

In 2002, Tenner moved to Los Angeles.  There she began working for Ellen Chenoweth on many Coen Bros. movies such as Intolerable Cruelty, Ladykillers, No Country For Old Men, Burn After Reading, A Serious Man and True Grit. She and Ellen received the 2009 Robert Altman Spirit Award for their casting on A Serious Man

Rachel began Rachel Tenner Casting in 2010. Some of her feature projects include:  Why Him, Keeping Up With The Joneses and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.  She most recently completed casting for George Clooney’s latest feature Good Morning Midnight, as well as the most recent installment of the Fast and Furious franchiseCurrently she is working on Red Notice directed by Rawson Thurber starring Ryan Reynolds and The Rock.

In television, Tenner’s most recent credits are: Ben Stiller’s Escape At Dannemora (nominated for an Emmy for outstanding casting), George Clooney’s Catch 22, Greg Daniel’s Upload, and Steve Conrad’s series Patriot for Amazon.  She recently completed the series Get Shorty (Epix), Perpetual Grace Ltd. (Epix) and Home Before Dark (Paramount & Apple), She currently is working on Ben Stiller’s new series for Apple, Showtime’s new political drama The President Is Missing, and the limited series Maid for John Wells and Molly Metzler.

In addition, Rachel was the casting director for all three seasons of FX’s limited series Fargo for which she was nominated for three Emmy’s and won one for Outstanding Casting.  She is presently casting Season 4.

Tenner is a graduate of New York University.
