Allen Hooper was the casting associate on Modern Family for the run of the series, from pilot to finale.  Casting Director credits include indie films Tapawingo and Soundwave and Sci-Fest: The Los Angeles Science Fiction One-Act Play Festival which Allen cast for all three seasons.  Allen is the recipient of four Artios Nominations and in 2015, he received the Casting Society of America’s Associate Spotlight Award in Los Angeles. 
Back in the day, Allen moved to Los Angeles as an actor before interning at Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer where he realized acting is a gateway drug to a better career in the entertainment industry.  This led to his early paid work as a casting assistant on Meet the Marks, Abby and A Minute with Stan Hooper (no relation).  He also worked as a casting associate on Pretty Dead Girl (2004 Sundance official selection) and Eating (2005 Sundance official selection).
