C.S.A. / Casting Directors, Artios Awards Co-Chairs

The Casting Society of America has made its final callbacks for 2020, unveiling the film nominees for its 36th annual Artios Awards. The winners will be announced during the virtual ceremony April 15 2021. The Artios is awarded to those CSA members who receive primary screen (or program) credit for casting on the winning project.

Rachel Reiss

Rachel Reiss, CSA is a senior casting director at Liz Lewis Casting Partners where she casts Film, TV, Commercials, Animation and VO nationwide. Rachel’s career started primarily in TV where she cast shows for numerous networks including the Food Network, Bravo, Lifetime, Oxygen, A&E, Spike, HGTV, and Discovery. Most notably she cast the first 11 seasons of Chopped. Additionally, Rachel has cast hundreds of commercials and voice-overs, including many that have been recognized with Clio Awards and Cannes Lion Awards including Gillette’s Handle With Care. Rachel was honored as the 2019 Heller Awards Recipient for Best Northeast Commercial and VO Casting. Rachel has been an industry expert for The SAG Foundation, NYU’s Stonestreet and Stella Adler, American Theater Wing and various conservatories. She is a proud member of the Casting Society of America and has served on the New York Board of Governors for 6 years.

Caitlin Jones

Caitlin has worked on hundreds of commercial castings since getting her start in 2008. Her passion for casting expanded into the television and independent film genres. Winning the 2020 CSA Artios Award for Best Casting of a Pilot/First Season Drama. Caitlin comes from a comedy background having completed all four levels of Improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre NY in 2009. In the spirit of “yes, and,” Caitlin’s work reflects her commitment to champion equity, inclusion, and casting that accurately reflects the modern world in which we live. Working as Associate Casting Director for FX’s POSE by Ryan Murphy, Caitlin helped feature the most inclusive and authentic LGBTQ+ cast on television. 

Caitlin is a proud member of the Television Academy, Commercial Casting Directors Association, The AICP, and Casting Society of America’s Diversity Committee and since 2016, Caitlin has served the CSA as a member of the Board of Directors. In November of 2020, she was elected as VP of Communications for the entire Casting Society of America.

Zora DeHorter

Zora is a Nigerian born, British raised, Hollywood independent/freelance film, television and commercial Casting Director. She is on the Board of Directors for the prestigious “Casting Society of America” as VP of Communications. Since joining the Board, Zora is proud to be contributory in the formation of the ‘CSA BIPOC [Black Indigenous People of Color] Alliance’. She has cast such films as Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Ali G In Da House” (2002), “Species III” (2004), “Loving Annabelle” (2006) which won 10 awards including L.A. Outfest, Atlanta Film Festival, Paris Film Festival, Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival; “Half-Life” won emerging director award (Jennifer Phang) at the Asian American Film Festival in 2008 as well as best feature Gen Art Film Festival in 2008, then in 2009 won jury award at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival.
