Its faculty and students represent a wide range of theatrical and dance traditions and methodologies, encouraging diversity to create work that speaks to the current historical moment.
Production is at the core of their training programs. Actors, choreographers, directors, designers, playwrights, dramaturgs and stage managers develop their skills by working on full-scale productions while being mentored by distinguished artists.
UC San Diego's Department of Theatre and Dance offers Undergraduate program with majors and minors in Theatre, majors and minors in Dance, and a double major in both Theatre and Dance.
