Capilano invites you to join faculty and students for 3 coaching sessions. In Session #1 & #2 Cathy Wilmot and Shawn Henry work with 2 first year students on contemporary and Golden Age musical performances (42 mins) and in Session #3, they work with a student on a poetry project for voice class (15 mins - starts at 43:00)


Capilano University School of Performing Arts

The School of Performing Arts offers a wide range of programs for aspiring artists from jazz studies and musical theatre to arts management and technical production.

Their instructors are artists and creators, industry professionals with practical knowledge that share the worlds of theatre, music and arts administration.

CapU grads are sought after in the creative industry, largely due to the extensive hands-on training you receive. With state-of-the-art theatre space, rehearsal halls and scene shops, students build sets, perform in theatre productions and play alongside award-winning musicians. So when our CapU grads walk onto a stage or into a studio or concert hall they’re ready to contribute to creative projects right from the get-go.

Acting for Stage and Screen, Advanced Arts & Entertainment Management, Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies, Performing Arts, Conducting in Music, Musical Theatre and Technical Theatre.
